Team: Chennai Super Kings vs Wayamba
Tournament: 2010 Champions League Twenty20 (CLT20)
Match: 9th T20 Match-Group: A (Day/Night)
Date: 15th September 2010
Time:17:30 Local (15:30 GMT)
Venue: Centurion, South Africa
If Chennai win this game, they will be level with Warriors with a couple of wins from as many games and that would brighten their chances of qualifying for the semi-finals. If, on the other hand, the Wayamba side win this game, it will make for an interesting viewing on the points table – especially given that one of Victoria or Central will win the other game of the day.
What the Super Kings probably need to do is to take cue from the way the South Australian side batted in the game against Mumbai Indians. They were not hurried despite chasing 180 odd, and that was in total contrast to what the Super Kings did against the Central Stags
Same was the story with Wayamba. They had lost Mahela Jayawardene for a duck Udawatte for 2, which can hardly work in favour of the side. One of the top three needs to bat through the innings for Wayamba.
