MIs chances depends on how their batsmen perform. The start is the key. With Tendulkar and Jayasuriya blasting bowlers all over the park at the top order, will make life easy for the middle order. Pollard and Dumminy have to play well, otherwise MI could end up scoring 160-170 instead of 190-200. Nayar could be the trump card for MIs. In bowling Zaheer with Malinga and Harbhajan could be deadly for any opposition. The team lacks in a good wicket-keeper batsman and a middle order batsman who could stabilize the innings in the middle overs.
RRs would have been loving the fact that IPL is being played in India again. Flat pitches, low bounce, hardly any movement off the pitch. Though they did not quite command the respect last time around but with their braveheart captain and raw talent, they can overcome any hurdle. This tim with no expectations whatsoever, they are raring to win it back for the fans. Yusuf pathan, Graeme Smith, Shane Watson, Shane Warne and Shaun Tait, are some of the guys commanding respect from the opposition.
