India vs Sri Lanka 4th ODI Live streaming at Kolkata, Ind vs Sl

The 4th odi between India and Sri Lanka will take place at Kolkata on Dec 24th - 2009. Kolkata's Eden Gardens is set to host an ODI after nearly three years. It last hosted an ODI in February 2007, when Sri Lanka toured India for a short series before the World Cup. The dew factor is expected to play a large role and with a 2.30pm start, and the sun setting fairly early, the teams could have some slippery conditions while fielding under lights.

The 2-1 scoreline is not unexpected given the way India have pushed Sri Lanka to the brink in all but one game - a Twenty20 - played in the limited-overs leg of the tour. But now, with the home team missing two match-winners, a hurting Sri Lanka have a realistic chance of leveling the series.

India vs Sri Lanka 2nd ODI Live streaming at Nagpur, Ind vs Sl

The 2nd odi between India and Sri Lanka will take place at Nagpur on Dec 18th - 2009. Apart from the injuries to Murali and Fernando, Sri Lanka also had to sweat on Lasith Malinga's fitness. He missed the first match and the management will be hopeful of his return to replace Fernando. If not, it could mean a debut for rookie fast bowler Suranga Lakmal, who teamed up with the squad today, or a spinner coming in. If it is the latter, Ajantha Mendis remains the safe bet but one of Muthumudalige Pushpakumara or Suraj Randiv could debut.

This will be only the second one-day international played at this venue - the first was a run fest. India racked up 354 against Australia and then won by 99 runs. The pitch is expected to be conducive for run-making, as it was during the Twenty20 when Sri Lanka made 216 in 20 overs. Scattered showers are forecast by the weather bureau, with temperatures of 27C predicted.

India vs Sri Lanka 1st ODI Live streaming at Rajkot, Ind vs Sl

The 1st odi between India and Sri Lanka will take place at Rajkot on Dec 15th - 2009. After a one-sided Test series and an even Twenty20 contest, during which flat pitches and big bats rendered the spinners ineffective, India and Sri Lanka embark upon a five-match ODI series beginning in Rajkot. Chastened by a 2-0 defeat in the Tests, Sri Lanka have a shot at redemption during this final leg of the tour.

India, despite their No. 2 ICC ranking, are not exactly bristling with confidence. They might have won 14 out of 23 completed ODIs this year, but are coming off a disappointing Champions Trophy and a home-series defeat to Australia. Sreesanth is surely out, and Yuvraj Singh is unlikely to play in the opener. That leaves a shaky middle order and a patchy bowling attack, neither of which fired cohesively against Australia. Zaheer and Harbhajan Singh's task of boosting India's bowling is now cut out.

India: (probable) 1 Virender Sehwag, 2 Sachin Tendulkar, 3 Gautam Gambhir, 4 Virat Kohli, 5 Suresh Raina, 6 MS Dhoni (capt/wk), 7 Ravindra Jadeja, 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 Praveen Kumar, 10 Zaheer Khan, 11 Ashish Nehra.

Sri Lanka: (probable) 1 Upul Tharanga, 2 Tillakaratne Dilshan, 3 Kumar Sangakkara (capt/wk), 4 Mahela Jayawardene, 6 Thilina Kandamby/Thilan Samaraweera, 7 Sanath Jayasuriya, 8 Angelo Mathews, 9 Muttiah Muralithara, 10 and 11 Nuwan Kulasekera/Thilan Thushara/Dilhara Fernando/Ajantha Mendis.

India vs Sri Lanka 1st T20 Live streaming at Nagpur, Ind vs Sl

The 1st t20 between India and Sri Lanka will take place at Nagpur on Dec 9th - 2009. The Indian players are stars in their respective IPL teams but their results have been ordinary when playing together as an international side: in nine Twenty20 internationals since 2008, they have lost six and won three. The first victory was a remarkable come-from-behind effort inspired by the Pathan brothers in Sri Lanka, the other two were against Bangladesh and Ireland during a woeful World Twenty20 campaign in England this year.

The two significant problems India had in England, however, will be missing from these two games. Virender Sehwag, who had an injured shoulder during the World Twenty20, is back and in frightening form, and the other batsmen's weaknesses against the rising delivery are unlikely to be exposed on the flat and true pitches in India.

India squad
MS Dhoni*, R Ashwin, AB Dinda, G Gambhir, KD Karthik†, A Nehra, PP Ojha, YK Pathan, SK Raina, V Sehwag, I Sharma, RG Sharma, S Sreesanth, S Tyagi, Yuvraj Singh

Sri Lanka squad
KC Sangakkara*†, TM Dilshan, CRD Fernando, CU Jayasinghe, ST Jayasuriya, DPMD Jayawardene, CK Kapugedera, KMDN Kulasekara, SL Malinga, AD Mathews, BAW Mendis, M Muralitharan, M Pushpakumara, K Weeraratne, UWMBCA Welegedara

South Africa vs England 5th ODI Live Streaming at Durban, RSA vs ENG

The 5th ODI between South Africa and England will take place at Durban on Dec 4th 2009. England lead this series by 2-1 against South africa.

South Africa vs England 5th ODI Live Streaming

Kevin Pietersen needs a score to settle him down, because it's not so much nerves as nervous energy that has been his problem so far in the tour. After a four-month lay-off, KP has been visibly rushing to pick up where he left off, never more so than at Port Elizabeth, when he could have been dismissed twice in a six-ball innings. More haste, less speed is the motto that springs to mind. If he allows himself a little longer to regain his timing, the entire squad could find themselves reaping the benefits as the Test series approaches.

It ought not to be a coincidence, but such is the hold that Graeme Smith has over his team these days, that his rare failure at Port Elizabeth - lbw for 2 - was the cue for South Africa to crumble to an ignominious defeat. Conversely, when his agenda-setting strokeplay has come off - never more so than during his 44-ball 88 in the second Twenty20 at Centurion - there's been no stopping the momentum he generates. If, as could happen amid the showers, the Durban game becomes a rain-reduced sprint, his 20-over prowess could well come to the fore again.

Stats and trivia

* South Africa's overall record in ODIs against England since 2008 now reads seven defeats and a solitary win in eight completed games, which is their worst clutch of results since the two teams first met in 1992

* Ominously, the last ODI match that England played in Durban, in 2005, was a washout. The match was abandoned with England uncomfortably placed on 7 for 2, chasing 213.

India vs Sri Lanka 3rd Test Day 3 Live streaming at Mumbai, Ind vs Sl

The 3rd test day 3 between India and Sri Lanka will take place at Mumbai on Dec 46th Dec - 2009. With both Vijay and Dravid batting solidly around Sehwag, Sri Lanka had forgotten what an edge looked like. In the 71st over, with Sehwag on 264, they finally saw one. Mathews bowled a slower one, and if you had seen how Sehwag had batted the whole day before that, like a religious believer you would say he hung his bat out and let the ball hit the edge so that it could go fine of third man for four. In the next over, Murali drew an edge that landed safe. In the next, Tillakaratne Dilshan got one that Mahela Jayawardene couldn't hang onto. It could be argued that no sane man would have been expecting an edge by then.

Sehwag did slow down after that edge and as stumps approached but as a parting shot he crashed Dilshan through covers for his 40th four, to go with seven sixes. That's when Dravid came in, and took the majority of the strike till close of play. A fair time, then, to acknowledge Vijay, who at some other time would have been the story of the day. But when Sehwag bats like he did, you feel sorry for the bowlers, put the other batsmen in the footnote, and move on.

India team
V Sehwag, M Vijay, R Dravid, SR Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, VVS Laxman, MS Dhoni*†, Harbhajan Singh, PP Ojha, Z Khan, S Sreesanth

India vs Sri Lanka 3rd Test Live streaming at Mumbai, Ind vs Sl

The 3rd test between India and Sri Lanka will take place at Mumbai on Dec 2nd to 6th Dec - 2009. Test cricket returns to a stadium originally designed to be the Lord's of India, which retained the exclusivity of Lord's but lost touch with the common man somewhere down the line. It houses the Ranji Trophy in its foyer and is built for storytelling, from the one when Abbas Ali Baig was kissed by a fan during an innings to the legendary Vijay Hazare-Vijay Merchant rivalry back in the day, and many in between.

India vs Sri Lanka 3rd Test Live Streaming

The world has changed and the Brabourne Stadium has lost its prime position in the Mumbai hierarchy but what it hasn't lost is its sense of occasion. Should it be a mere coincidence, then, that India go in to the match with a chance of becoming the No.1 Test team for the first time ever, at a ground where more than 50 years ago they came agonisingly close to their first Test win when the umpire removed the bails with 90 seconds left on the clock and India six short of the target set by West Indies?

Sri Lanka have never played here, nor have they ever won in India. They are the second-ranked team in the world. Sri Lanka are struggling, Muttiah Muralitharan is struggling, their first-choice pace bowlers are down with injuries. Take out Bangladesh, and 12 of Sri Lanka's last 14 Test wins have come at home. Sri Lanka need to win this one, and justify their No. 2 ranking.

India : (probable) M Vijay, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni (capt/wk), Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Sreesanth, Pragyan Ojha.

Sri Lanka: (probable) Tharanga Paranavitana, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Kumar Sangakkara (capt/wk), Mahela Jayawardene, Thilan Samaraweera, Angelo Mathews, Prasanna Jayawardene (wk), Nuwan Kulasekara, Chanaka Welegedara, Muttiah Muralitharan, Rangana Herath.
